Director Qld
I am a proud Kabi Kabi and Wiradjuri woman.
I was born and raised in Roma Queensland on Mandandanji country and now have the privilege of working and living on Yaggera and Turrbal country. My Grandmother raised in Barambah, was a part of the stolen generations. This has had a significant influence on my life, subsequently I am passionate about supporting our families, women and children to stay connected and together.
I work as a First Nations Implementation Consultant providing parenting education to First Nations community services. My background includes working in Project Management, Governance and Direct Client Care roles.
My volunteering background includes Chairing Digi Youth Arts; a First Nations Majority non-for-profit Arts organisation which shares the stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
Professionally I am a registered nurse and midwife and have a Master’s in Management. Currently I am finalising a Graduate Certificate in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education.
I actively advocate for our young women and children and community through engaged political and social leadership.
When not at work I enjoy walking on country or swimming in our beautiful waterways with family and friends.
